The vision for Nibakure Community Village (NCV) began in the heart of Floriane Nibakure, a native of Rwanda. She immigrated to the United States in 1988 and raised a family there. Floriane continued to feel a connection to–and compassion for–the people of Rwanda.
VISION
We envision a Nyamata community that is sustainable, resilient, healthy, and vibrant, where the basic needs of vulnerable children, youth and young mothers are met.
MISSION
Our mission is to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children, youth, and young mothers in our community by providing comprehensive educational opportunities and supporting activities.

We believe in the power of this community to make sustainable changes for a better future for all of its citizens and we are committed to:
Assisting the community of Nyamata to thrive by improving access to education, food security, and economic opportunity;
Collaborating with local stakeholders, including parents, teachers, community leaders, and organizations, to collectively improve the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and young mothers.
Engaging the community by fostering ownership and participation in order to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.
Providing knowledge and skills to vulnerable children, youth, and young mothers in order to further their education.
Providing literacy and vocational training to vulnerable children, youth, and young mothers in the community in order to build confidence and acquire skills that will enable them to pursue job opportunities.
