Following the end of the orphanage era in Rwanda and in conversation with our neighbors in the community, NCV transitioned to become an educational instutution, providing a low-cost, local option for children in our community to begin a life of learning and growing.

What began in converted housing from the orpahange has expanded into two dedicated school buildings. Here we provide three levels of preschool, known in Rwanda as Early Childhood Development or ECD.

Our plan is to continue to grow with our students, adding buildings and new classes each year. We look forward to welcoming our first primary school class in fall of 2026.
